ABOUT ME

Hiiii!

Thank you so much for nosey-ing around my website.

I'm Hannah, the owner of all things Moon & Muffin Bakehouse. I started this little business in 2019 as a side hustle when I was working as a Makeup Artist at Manchester Airport and freelancing with Boohoo. 2am wakeup calls were the norm and after 6 years, it was absolutely ruining me and my passion for it just died. I always said if I don't make it in that industry, I'm going for cakes. And look what's happened. Mad. I remember it taking it a couple of months for word to get around when I first started out, and then one day in summer 2020 I looked at my diary and had orders every single day for the next 2 months, and ever since then it's snowballed in the best way possible and become my full time job! It's funny 'cause I still work through all hours of the day and night but this time it's running round my kitchen covered in chocolate and buttercream rather than slapping a smoky eye on someone at 5am, and I wouldn't have it any other way! I suppose I've always been involved in people's special occasions, I've just swapped the service I'm offering from makeup to cake!

I've always been more of a creative person and I'm sure everyone that knows me will say I'm the worlds most annoying perfectionist, but that's what ya want when it comes to cakes, right?
